Australia defeated Pakistan by 1 innings and 5 runs on Sunday morning. Soon after, on Sunday afternoon, India defeated Bangladesh by 1 innings and 46 runs. Then this morning came the result of the Tests of New Zealand and England.

In this Test, New Zealand defeated England by 1 innings and 65 runs. There were rare similarities in all three of these tests. Coincidence 1 – The team that wins the toss in all three games chooses to bat first. Pakistan, Bangladesh and England won the toss and elected to bat. Coincidence 2 – All three teams batting first after winning the toss failed to score big in the first innings. Pakistan were all out for 240, Bangladesh for 106 and England for 353. Coincidence 3 – All three teams that bowled first made huge scores when they batted. Australia scored 580, India 347 for 9 and New Zealand 615 for 9.

Coincidence 4 – All three teams batting first after winning the toss could not even find the lead made by the opposing team from the same innings in their second innings. Even when batting 2 innings, Pakistan was 5 runs behind Australia’s score in the same innings, Bangladesh was 46 runs and England was 65 runs. The losing team was all out twice but the winning team did not bat for the second time.
